You can have a clear view of the surrounding landscape and see all the religious processions from an adorable balcony overlooking the main street. The furniture is still typical of the time, the bed in enamelled iron, the chest of drawers with dark walnut bedside tables, the floral decorated tiles made of cement paste, the two paintings by Vittorio, that decorate the walls represent the great Etna Volcano.
ATTENTION TO DETAILS IS HOSPITALITY
Slowing the pace of life, looking at each detail with new eyes, just like a painter does. These intense feelings, combined with the warmth of hospitality, is what I want to convey to you giving you the possibility to book a room in my house, where you can feel like at home.

The cape Matapan Room
Description
The room is almost a small museum. You will find many books on display telling the story of the famous battle and the paintings painted by Vittorio with images of submarines. Objects of Sicilian peasant culture furnish the walls and the shelves, like the utre – the wineskin where the grape must was kept , “u ciascu” – the wicker wine bottle , the “lancedda” – is the tin container to conserve water. The room is ideal for a couple who wants to spend even a few more days, in fact there is a small kitchen with the ancient “lemmu” – small Sicilian ceramic sink. The bathroom with stone walls is disengaged from the room through a small corridor with a characteristic brick staircase.

#WHERE YOU CAN FEEL AT HOME.
Breakfast is the moment to experience the flavours and colors of Sicily: such as freshly baked bread, jams, typical sweets made with loving hands. If you need to visit wonderful places and taste typical products, or simply to have a chat sipping a cup of tea, we can sit round the table and it will be a pleasure for me to give you a helping hand.
